A three-day Capacity Building Programme was organised at Nishan-E-Sikhi International School, Khadoor Sahib, under the guidance of Baba Sewa Singh Ji, Head of Kar Sewa Khadoor Sahib, from July 1 to July 3, 2026, for the teachers of Nishan-E-Sikhi International School and Baba Gurmukh Singh Baba Uttam Singh Senior Secondary School.
The programme began with a Shabad by the students. Professor Arvind Dhillon, IISER Mohali, attended as the Chief Guest, while Principal S. Amarjit Singh welcomed the guests and participants. Professor Arvind Dhillon and Bhai Waryam Singh motivated teachers to adopt innovative, practical, and student-centred teaching practices.
The sessions covered Punjabi, Hindi, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and NTT subjects. The resource persons included Ms. Navdeep Kaur and Mr. Satinder Singh Othi (Punjabi); Ms. Upma Mahajan and Mr. Ajit Singh (Hindi); Ms. Kritika Arora, Mr. Manish Mishra, and Ms. Jaspreet Kaur Dhillon (English); Mr. Vikram Singh (Mathematics); Dr. S. K. Nirmal Goyal and Ms. Mridul Jhingan (Science); Ms. Neetu Bansal and Mr. Balraj Singh Bath (Social Science); and Ms. Navpreet Kaur, Ms. Rupinder Kaur, Mr. Sandeep Ahuja, Ms. Preeti Dahiya, and Dr. Parvinder Kaur (NTT). The programme was coordinated by Ms. Charanjit Kaur.

The resource persons conducted engaging sessions and interactive activities, sharing innovative and competency-based teaching practices. At the valedictory ceremony, the institution honoured all the resource persons in the presence of Baba Baldev Singh, Bhai Waryam Singh, Principal S. Amarjit Singh, and Principal Ms. Parminder Kaur. Teachers from both schools participated enthusiastically throughout the programme. The event was gracefully anchored by the school’s students, Kajanpreet Kaur and Khushpreet Kaur.
