Bagless Day

On 7 August, Bagless Day was organised for Classes III to V through joyful, hands-on and experiential learning activities. In Science, students performed activities on filtration, sedimentation and decantation and learned about the parts of a flower. A nature walk and material-based activities encouraged observation and creativity. In Hindi, students participated in role-play stories and puzzles. English activities included new reading, storytelling and Guess the Word, while Punjabi activities focused on speaking, listening and slogan writing. A cultural quiz developed students’ awareness of Indian traditions and heritage. In Mathematics, students enjoyed activities using points, circles and stars, multiplication games and a Maths project. Students also participated in the traditional game Stapu and explored traditional clothes. Overall, the day promoted learning by doing, creativity, communication, reading, physical activity and joyful learning without school bags.
