The Seventh Annual Prize Distribution Function was organized at Nishan-E-Sikhi International School, Khadur Sahib
Khadur Sahib – (Date 08 November, 2023) Seventh Annual Prize Distribution Function was held at Nishan-E-Sikhi International School Khadur Sahib running under the guidance of Revered Baba Sewa Singh Ji, in which Hon’ble Justice Harminder Singh Madaan (Retd.), Punjab & Haryana High Courtthe Chief Guest. Ms. Priya Sood (District and Session Judge, Tarn Taran) and Ms. Gurpreet Kaur (Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Khadur Sahib) were also present. As per the tradition of the school, the event was started by reciting the hymns of Gurbani by the students. During this event, presentations were made by the students of the school on various subjects such as Nukkar Natak, Song on Mother Tongue (Punjabi), Presentation on Environment Conservation, Historical Play-Jassa Singh Ramgharia, Choreography, Bhangra etc. These presentations were highly appreciated by the guests. The annual report of the school was read by the school Principal S. Amarjit Singh, in which the achievements of the school were explained. Prizes were distributed to students who excelled in academics and had 100 percent attendance. The chief guest Justice Harminder Singh Madaan appreciated the efforts being made by Baba Sewa Singh ji in the field of environment, education and for giving importance to Punjabi language. While the chief guest praised the school in his speech, he also encouraged the children to get higher education and to improve and strengthen the future of themselves and their nation by staying in their own country. Chief guest Justice Harminder Singh Madaan was honored by Baba Sewa Singh ji and the managing committee of the school. Finally, the Head-mistress thanked the guests, dignitaries of the area, parents, staff and students for making this program a success. On this occasion, S. Avtar Singh Bajwa, Bhai Waryam Singh Ji, Baba Baldev Singh Ji, Directors, Principals, Managing Committee members of various institutions running under Nishan-E-Sikhi Charitable Trust, dignitaries of the area, parents of children, school staff and students were present.
