Khalsa Sajna Diwas was celebrated by Nishan-E-Sikhi International School on 13 April, 2023 with great pleasure in the morning assembly under the supervision of divinity teachers. Event was commenced with gurbani kirtan by students followed by mesmerizing poem recitation performances and Kavishri by junior champs. Divinity teacher S. Harjit Singh apprised the history of this pious day that how Khalsa panth warriors were formed by Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji. Principal S. Amarjit Singh congratulated everyone and motivated the students to always follow the path suggested by our Gurus. Yellow day was celebrated for Kindergarten and Class-1 Students. Tiny tots were wearing gorgeous traditional dresses of yellow and orange colours and they brought yellow food. A Turban tying competition was also organised among the students of all four houses in which twenty students participated enthusiastically and top three position holders were appreciated by the principal and headmistress.Given below are some glimpses of this celebration.
