“The earth is what we all have in common.” So everyone has the responsibility to act for the care of the Mother Earth, without any further delay. As quoted in Gurbani,
“ਪਵਣੁ ਗੁਰੂ ਪਾਣੀ ਪਿਤਾ ਮਾਤਾ ਧਰਤਿ ਮਹਤੁ ॥
To celebrate this day and to save the earth from being destroyed, different activities were arranged for the students .The glimpses of International Mother Earth Day 2022 as celebrated by different class groups of the school.
In the light of Gurbani, Kaar Sewa Khadur Sahib has initiated the Environmental Conservation Projects since 1999. As a part of it,the Forest Plantation Drive has been initiated in 2019, on the occasion of 550th Prakash Gurpurab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji. Today, 137th Guru Nanak Memorial Forest was planted at the village Dinewal in 01 acre land area donated to Guru Ghar by Dr. Gurwinder Singh Samra. It was a proud moment for our school that our 52 students from class 12th participated in Tree Planting event under the able guidance of Baba Sewa Singh ji . In addition to this, the essay writing, poster making, flash card making competitions, poem, lecture and other practical activities were conducted in the school campus with the joint efforts of the school staff and the students.
