Inter House Science Quiz Competition 2024
An inter house science quiz competition 2024 was conducted successfully at Nishan-E-Sikhi International School Khadur Sahib. 4 teams comprising 5 members each participated in this quiz. The event started with the recitation of Mool Mantra. All team members and the students in the form of an audience were found to be quite enthusiastic and energetic to be the part of this competition. Every team faced the questions from the different fields of science. The Competition was divided into four rounds- Discovries and inventions, astronomy, environment & climate change and the basic sciences. All the teams faced some challenging questions in these rounds. Questions were asked from the audience also. On the spot gifts were provided for the correct answers from the audience. All the students enjoyed a lot and shared their knowledge in Sciences. The event was decorated with the special presence and speech of respected principal S. Amarjeet Singh. He delivered his valuable thoughts for the importance of science in human life making a beautiful connection of practicability of Science with social aspects. He also motivated the students to avail such opportunities during their school age. At last the results were announced in which Baba Deep Singh Ji house won the competition. Sardar Hari Singh Nalwa house was the first runner up and the second runner up was Akali Phoola Singh Ji House. Scoreboard was diligently managed by XI Science Students. Quiz master Sardar Jagdeep Singh along with his team members from NESIS Science Department and Helpers were present for the successful conduction of the event.
