Parkash Diwas of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji was celebrated at Nishan E Sikhi International school on 7th of November, 2022 ( Monday) with great enthusiasm. A quiz competition based on the life of Guru Nanak Dev ji was conducted among the students of four different houses by divinity teachers.
S. Shyam singh Atari house, Baba Deep Singh ji house and S.Hari Singh Nalwa house got First, Second and Third positions respectively whereas the students of Akali Phoola Singh ji house participated passionately.
A speech describing divine acts of First Guru was presented by divinity teacher S. Harjit Singh. Some students recited religious poem related to this day. Principal S. Amarjit Singh appreciated all the participants and encouraged the student to celebrate this occasion by following Guru Nanak Dev ji’s teachings. At the end of this celebration, refreshments were provided to all the students and staff. A few moments were captured as given below.
